We provide a warm, welcoming environment where children can enjoy a nutritious breakfast, engage in fun activities, and ease into their school day with confidence. This service is only offered at Holy Rood Catholic Primary School
Smooth & Flexible Drop-Off Options
We understand that mornings can be hectic, so we offer flexible drop-off times to accommodate different schedules:
- Early Drop-Off: Available from 7:00 AM for parents who need an earlier start.
- Regular Drop-Off: From 7:30 AM onwards.
Upon arrival, children are signed in, and any important information from parents is noted to ensure a smooth and informed transition.
A Healthy & Varied Breakfast
We believe that a good breakfast sets the tone for a productive day. That’s why we offer a wide selection of nutritious and tasty options for children to enjoy at their own pace. Breakfast is served from 7:45 AM to 8:10 AM, with children free to play before, during, and after their meal.

Safe & Organized School Drop-Off
We ensure that every child arrives at school feeling safe, secure, and ready to learn. Our staff carefully organize school drop-offs to make the transition as smooth as possible.
- Nursery & Reception (Ages 3-5): Children are escorted by staff, ensuring they have all their belongings and feel comfortable before entering their classroom.
- Years 1 & 2 (Ages 5-7): Each child is personally walked to their classroom door, holding hands with a staff member if needed. Their arrival is confirmed with their teacher.
- Years 3 & 4 (Ages 7-9): Older children walk independently through the school corridor to their classroom door, with staff supervision until they arrive safely.
By 8:30 AM, all children are settled and ready for a fantastic day ahead!
